Application for 2009-2010 *new
Parents with children who will be 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2009 and meet
other eligibility requirements can complete an application for 2009-2010 now. Parents may
also visit an HISD elementary school for an application.

Assessment Update
Administration of the PK Language and Literacy, and Math assessments is
just around the corner. Teachers should be ready to administer these assessments in the
time frames defined below:
Mid year - January 21 - February 11, 2009
End of Year - April 22 - May 13, 2009
