The Central Region
held two day-long training sessions to help familiarize campus personnel with special education testing as well as testing and day-to-day instructional accommodations for students with disabilities. Teams from almost all the Central Region schools attended. The teams were made up of the principal, the special education department chair, the intervention assistance team chair, the campus test coordinator, and a regular education classroom teacher. Approximately 250 people attended one of the two days. The training was put together by, amongst others, regional education managers, feeder pattern content specialists, special education coordinators.
