Changing Folder Views
If you wish to customize the information and style of folder windows you can do so using the Folder Options control panel.
Go to the Control Panels window and open the Folder Options control panel by double-clicking it.

Click on the tab that is labeled View
You can make changes in the scrollable section of the window that is labeled Advanced Settings: When you have made all your changes remember to select whether you want to apply the changes that you have made to all folders (by clicking the Apply to All Folders button) or simply to the folder you were in when you opened the Folder Options
