Step 1 - Exporting your inventory

| This is a description of what needs to be done to succesfully
import your inventory from the text file you created when you exported
from SAP. |

Step 2
Importing your inventory into the Excel Inventory

Download the spreadsheet,
paying attention to where you save it. You may rename it if you
wish. |

1 Open Excel and then click the open file icon.
2 Find and open the Inventory Checking spreadsheet you just downloaded. |

C. Click
the open file icon again and find the file you exported from SAP
(hopefully you remember where you put it). For the sake of this
example, we placed ours on the Desktop.

Click the Finish button on the text import wizard which opens

Your report should resemble the example below

Click on cell C6 and, holding down your mouse button, drag down
to the last line of your inventory and column R

drag down and to the right from C6
to the last line and column Q

Move to the Inventory Checker spreadsheet and make sure cell A2
on the SAP_Inventory tab is clicked

Very important! Go to the Edit menu
and select Paste Special...

In the dialogue box that opens select Values
and then click OK
