Lead Teachers and Department Chairpersons    Lead teachers (elementary schools) and department chairpersons (secondary schools) are an integral link in the implementation of a districtwide curricula. In addition to their regular campus duties, lead teachers and department chairpersons serve as content-specific liaisons between the schools and the Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Departments.
