is Year At A Glance?
Did you even just want to get a glimpse of the "big picture" for quick
reference? Well, that is what Year At A Glance provides
for busy teachers and administrators.
At the elementary level, the documents offer a look at the learning focuses across content
areas that will be covered during each nine-weeks grading period at each grade level. By
providing a cross-curricular view, a second grade teacher will be able to survey the major
learning that will occur in reading, language arts, mathematics, science, and social
studies during a given grading cycle.
At the secondary level, the documents are organized by content area across grade levels.
This allows a middle school math teacher who is teaching the curricula for grades six and
seven to view the major learning for that six-weeks cycle for both grades from the same
