The first site that we're previewing in our Weekly Web Wonder is an oddly named gem called Hippocampus. Now you would have to expect that a site that has chosen the name "Hippo" has got to have something big to offer, and in this case, you would be right on target. The first thing you'll find here is a number of audio visual presentations in most of the core curriculum areas, but that would only be scratching the surface. Too cumbersome to send a class to the page to see the video?. That's easily fixed. Just create a free account and try the option to create a customs Hippocampus page for your students. Once you have an account, you can create announcements, hide unwanted subjects and courses, remove unused textbooks and bookmark specific multimedia topics.
