Understanding
Math Plus has been installed to the APPS folder of a school's server,
(generally <schoolname>-rs01).
The APPS folder must be mapped to the "G:" drive to properly access and use Understanding
Math as it has been configured.
The "G:" drive is the standard mapping that is being used in most HISD
schools. The program can be reconfigured if necessary.
To map the APPS folder on a computer where it hasn't been done; browse to the
school's server, right-click on the folder called "APPS", click on "Map
Network Drive", and select G as the drive letter.
These are general instructions on how to access the software which has already been
installed.
Schools should deal with the HISD help desk if they are having difficulties
accessing their server, or mapping drives. Any question regarding
reconfiguring Understanding Math for special cases, or people
who can access
the program but it is not functioning properly, should be referred to NLS.
