Exam Information

The State Board for Educator Certification requires that an educator who wishes to test for the Master Technology Teacher Certification will have completed a SBEC-approved certification program prior to testing.

The Houston ISD MTT program is 9 months in length with a summer internship required upon completion. Students who successfully complete each course and the summer internship will receive documentation to take the Master Technology Teacher certification exam.

Certification is granted upon completion of the State certification exam.
